We are a small but growing logistics company looking for a reliable and experienced
Fleet Controller
to manage our fleet of trucks and drivers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for route planning, fuel monitoring, and identifying ways to reduce operational costs.Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of trucks and drivers Plan and optimize delivery routes Monitor diesel usage and maintain fuel efficiency records Track vehicle maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards Identify cost-saving opportunities across fleet operations Maintain accurate logs of trips, fuel consumption, and expenses Communicate effectively with drivers and resolve operational issues
Requirements
Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English Previous experience in fleet or logistics management Strong organizational and multitasking skills Knowledge of South African transport regulations Familiarity with route planning and fuel tracking systems Excellent communication and leadership abilities
