to join our busy optometrist practice on a fixed-term basis. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong computer literacy, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
Manage appointments, scheduling, and follow-ups using computer systems.
Prepare quotes and assist with administrative tasks.
Provide guidance to patients in choosing frames and eyewear.
Handle customer queries and resolve difficult situations calmly and effectively.
Support the optometrist and team with daily operational needs.
Requirements:
Strong computer proficiency (essential).
Excellent people skills with the ability to handle challenging interactions.
Previous reception or retail experience (optical/medical background will be an advantage).
Professional, well-presented, and proactive.
Available to start
1 October 2025
(fixed-term contract: 4 months).

Monday - Friday:
09:00 - 18:00
Saturday:
09:00 - 14:00
Public Holidays:
09:00 - 14:00
