-Join this exceptional team in the position of Electrician UG. You will be expected to maintain, install and commission the electrical components of the machinery and equipment . -This position is a Fixed Term Contract role. Some of the key responsibilities for this role includes:

• Conduct safety meetings and Risk Assessments.
• Reporting on safety and deviations and record results of all legal examinations.
• Achievement of safe production performance levels through the effective maintenance, installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Manage breakdowns and emergencies as well as Planned Maintenance.
• Supervision of external service providers and internal Engineering Assistants.
• Ensure that material, spares and equipment are available as required and job cards are fully completed.
• Ensure proper and adequate on the job training and coaching is provided to trainee artisans.

This role is in the Engineering Department at a C2 level and reports into the Electrical Foreman.

Qualifications
-To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• Grade 12 and Technical Trade Specific N3.
• Electrician Trade Certificate.
• Medium Voltage Certificate will be advantageous.

To be successful, you will have the following experience:

• At least 1 to 2 years engineering experience as an Electrician in the mining environment
• Stopping experience will be advantageous.

Additional Information

• -Valid drivers license.
• Basic computer literate.
• You will be available to work shifts and overtime if necessary as well as be on standby.
• If successful, you will be required to take a Medical Fitness Test.
