Job Description
Industry: Production Plant (FMCG) Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience Minimum Requirements:
- Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal)
- Minimum of 3 years working experience within a Production Plant (FMCG)
- Ensure scheduled maintenance on plant equipment is undertaken within the timeframe to minimize equipment failure.
- Ensure that pellet mills are correctly set and lubricated.
- Responding to all mechanical breakdowns timeously to ensure minimum downtime.
- Attending to all assigned daily job cards as per required timeframes.
- Ensuring that all duties are carried out safely and ensuring good housekeeping within work
- areas.
- Reporting all critical and urgent defects and /or spare requirements to the maintenance
- Foreman and attending to them.
- Carrying out standby and after-hours duties as required.
- Carrying out any other related tasks as assigned by the foreman and assisting other artisans when required.
- Fitter and Turner Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal)?
- Minimum of 3 years working experience within a Production Plant (FMCG)?
