Job Summary My client is a leading engineering firm dedicated to providing innovative solutions for fire safety and building design. With a reputation for excellence, they work on a wide range of projects, from commercial and residential buildings to industrial facilities.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive fire protection and safety plans for various projects.
• Designing and implementing fire suppression and detection systems, including sprinklers, fire alarms, and smoke control systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations.
• Conducting detailed calculations, simulations, and analyses to evaluate fire risk, smoke propagation, and the effectiveness of fire protection systems.
• Providing technical support during the construction phase, overseeing the installation and commissioning of fire safety systems.
• Conducting regular inspections and tests of existing fire protection systems to ensure their optimal functionality.
• Keeping abreast of the latest developments and advancements in fire protection technologies and integrating them into design solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in fire protection engineering, mechanical system design, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection codes, standards, and regulations (NFPA, IBC, IFC, etc.).
• Proficiency in CAD software and fire modeling tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
