Value Added Services is a well-established and expanding Division within the PnP Landscape consisting of 3 business units, Financial Services, Value Added Services, and Cellular. Financial Services includes Banking, Transactional, Lending and Insurance. Value Added Services includes Bill Payments, Prepaid Electricity and Ticketing, which includes amongst other Travel, Events, Lotto, 3rd Party and owned virtual and physical gift cards. Cellular includes pre-paid airtime, handsets and accessories as well as PnP Mobile, our own MNVO. The purpose of this role is to be accountable for marketing and initiatives management within Financial and/or Value-Added Services. To execute the strategy for the portfolio and ensure the end to end value chain is functioning optimally by developing and managing stakeholder relationships, developing a strategy and key plans to execute on the marketing efforts required for all products whether new (as part of a go to market strategy) or existing as well as developing, managing and monitoring the performance and ensuring operational effectiveness. To co-ordinate and organise the initiatives for the team and related stakeholders supporting the drive for success with regard to the initiatives. Product managers will drive and chair the various initiatives themselves xe2x80x93 this is more of a coordination role for effectiveness across the team.
Minimum Requirements
Commercial/Financial degree/Marketing degree or equivalent NQF level 7 or higher qualification is advantageous
Marketing experience is essential
At least 5 (five) years banking/insurance/lending advantageous
At least 5 (five) yearsxe2x80x99 experience in products development andxe2x81x84or management
Experience in Project Management is advantageous
Experience in Retail is advantageous
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Internet
Good communication, analytical and presentation skills
Duties & Responsibilities
Be the key provider in the FS/VAS team related to marketing, projects & agreements; providing coordination, organization, roadmap, operationalizing & management of related services for all products in the team across the categories.
Define approach and structure for provision of this key function in conjunction with Senior Manager: Financial & Value-Added Services & in collaboration Product Managers in the team and key internal stakeholders
Own & manager key relationships with internal cross functional teams to ensure collaboration and execution of responsibilities.
Influence key stakeholders for the benefit of the FS & VAS team strategic objectives
