This role is tailored for a middle to senior-level professional with at least 7 years of hands-on financial modelling experience in the mining sector, and a strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and infrastructure finance.
What Youll Do:

• Design, develop, and refine complex financial models for both short-term budgets and long-term life-of-mine plans.
• Collaborate with operational and cross-functional teams to benchmark, analyze, and validate key inputs and assumptions.
• Deliver accurate and insightful forecasts, scenario analyses, and trend interpretations to support high-impact decisions.
• Provide actionable recommendations on cost optimization and performance improvements.
• Lead the creation of comprehensive financial reports and investor-ready presentations.
• Engage directly with internal stakeholders, investors, lenders, legal teams, and government entities to support project and funding initiatives.
• Support business development efforts including tender processes and strategic project evaluation.

What Youll Bring:

• A BSc in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline (BBusSc or BCom in Financial Mathematics, Accounting, or Statistics is advantageous).
• Proven track record in financial modelling with strong exposure to mining and infrastructure finance.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with an unwavering attention to numerical accuracy.
• Sound knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, taxation, and the mining industry.
• Exceptional analytical thinking, communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in strategic decision support and interacting with senior stakeholders across functions.
