Financial ManagerREF: KK600Market Related SalaryStellenbosch/Klapmuts, Western CapeOur client is recruiting for an experienced and detail oriented Financial Manager to oversee and optimise financial operations in their production business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, cost control, and compliance, while also supporting business growth and enhancing operational efficiency.RESPONSIBILITIES:Overseeing and managing the financial reporting processEnsuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and other relevant financial regulationsDeveloping and maintaining internal financial controls and policiesPreparing and analysing budgets, forecasts, and financial modelsProviding insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior managementMonitoring and controlling production costs, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency improvementsAnalysing cost structures and implementing cost-reduction strategiesEnsuring accurate cost accounting and inventory valuationOptimising working capital, including accounts payable and receivable managementEnsuring compliance with tax laws, VAT regulations, and company financial policiesLeading, mentoring, and developing the production finance teamWorking closely with production, procurement, and operations teams to ensure financial efficiencyDriving process improvements within the finance departmentREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related fieldProfessional qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA) is preferredMinimum of five years' financial management experience, ideally in a production or manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of financial regulations, cost accounting, and financial reportingProficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesFluent in Afrikaans and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skillsProven leadership skills
