Job Description
Job Summary SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: o Chartered Accountant (South Africa) o A minimum of five years' experience in a finance-related position, such as financial analyst or accountant o Previous working experience in a mining environment o Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills o Sound understanding of a financial control environment and the management thereof. OTHER SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: o Strong understanding of IFRS accounting principles, standards, and relevant tax regulations o Knowledge of MD365 will be advantage o Ability to prepare accurate financial statements, management accounts, and cash flow forecasts o Familiarity with internal control systems and audit requirements o Strong analytical skills for investigating variance and trends o Budgets o Forecasts o Stock Management o Reporting o Fixed Asset Management o Cost Management o Staff Management o Financial Statements EXPERIENCE: o Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in the finance or mining industry is essential.
