Full accounting function via accounting software _Pastel
Monthly Management statements
Budget planning and cash flow schedules
Compilation of Audit Files and submission to auditors, answer auditors' queries
Monthly Invoicing to clients
Monthly processing of creditors and expenses information
VAT calculation and return submissions (SARS efiling)
Provisional tax calculations and return submissions
EMP 201 return submission (SARS efiling)
Inter-company transaction calculations and reconciliations
Bi-Annual IRP 5 reconciliation and submission via e@syfile
Human Resources: Payroll Function, appointment letters, salary processing etc - SAGE Business Online
Annual Workman's Compensation Return (ROE) calculations and submission
B-BBEE planning and implementation
Keeping all insurances up to date (PI Insurance, short term insurance, etc.)
EFT Bank functions
Overseeing IT functions (basic IT- knowledge will be beneficial)
Own filing (hybrid between hard copy and electronic filing)
2 x companies (reporting directly to directors)
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 - 3 years post article experience
Experience in accounting environment other than Articles
Good communication skills (Afrikaans and English working environment)
Team player and be able to work on own without supervision
Attention to detail, forward thinking
Systems driven
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure
Qualification:
B.Com Accounting Degree or similar
Completed SAIPA Articles
SAIPA Registration and in good standing (beneficial)
