Financial Manager (parow)

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and strategic Financial Manager to oversee our financial operations and support business growth through robust planning, reporting, and compliance for our group of companies.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA(SA) or equivalent preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis
- Experience on Sage X3 is advantageous
- Develop, manage, and align annual budgets with company strategy; conduct rolling forecasts and variance analysis.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and quarterly management reports
- Monitor daily cash flow, ensure sufficient liquidity, and optimize working capital through effective forecasting and controls.
- Analyse fixed and variable costs and identify cost saving opportunities
- Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and internal control procedures, conducting regular audits and reviews.
- Maintain efficient and reliable financial systems, driving automation and ensuring data accuracy and system uptime.
- Ensure all tax returns (VAT, PAYE, company tax, etc.) are submitted on time, while minimizing exposure and avoiding penalties.
- Lead and develop a high performing finance team through training, performance evaluations, and clear role definition.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision making, project viability assessments, and investment planning.
