Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail oriented, experienced or qualified Financial Manager to oversee all financial operations, manage administrative functions and handle Human Resources responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in financial management, possess strong administrative skills and have an understanding of HR practices in South Africa. This role requires managing the finances, ensuring compliance and contributing to the overall efficiency of the organisation.
Responsibilities
Finance:
The Financial Manager will manage the full financial functions of the companies, prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management accounts. Look over and manage the budget, forecasting, and financial planning processes. This role also involves overseeing payroll processing using Sage, managing debits and credits, performing auto-receipting, and handling pricing strategies and analysis. Furthermore, the Financial Manager will manage the finances related to any Body Corporates the company deals with, monitor and manage cash flow effectively, ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, and advise on all financial matters, including invoicing and any financial related aspect. The role also includes assisting with internal and external customer audits and performing other financial tasks as required by the Company.
Administration:
The administrative responsibilities include processing and managing service cancellations, overseeing stock management, managing BBBEE compliance and related or other general administrative tasks.
Human Resources:
In Human Resources, the Financial Manager will manage employee leave in accordance with South African legislation, handle payroll and CTC administration, address and resolve general HR issues, ensure compliance with 3rd party contractors and perform general HR functions.
