Financial Manager
Job Description
An established and growing business within a reputable group is seeking a dynamic Financial Manager to take ownership of the finance function and provide strategic oversight while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
This opportunity will see you managing the full financial function across multiple entities within a supportive head office environment. You will be responsible for driving financial accuracy, implementing effective controls, and providing management with timely and meaningful insights to support decision-making. The role offers exposure to group reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, as well as the opportunity to mentor and guide a team.
Other Duties Include:
- Oversight of monthly reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and company policies
- Preparation and review of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Management of cash flow, working capital, and long-term receivables
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register and monitoring of capital projects
- Supervision, coaching, and development of junior finance staff
- Driving process improvements, efficiencies, and automation within the finance team
- Qualified CA(SA)
- Minimum 5-7 years relevant finance experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with ERP exposure (IFS advantageous)
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Commercially minded with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and develop a team
