As the Financial Manager, you will oversee the financial controlling function, ensuring compliance with IFRS, leading a skilled finance team, and partnering with operations, sales, and supply chain to provide strategic and commercial insights. You will manage month-end and year-end processes, budgets, forecasts, and audits, while streamlining systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. This role demands a hands-on, solutions-driven leader who can thrive in a high-pressure environment.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Registered CA(SA) with strong post-articles experience.
- Proven track record as a Financial Manager or Senior Financial Controller in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing advantageous).
- Solid IFRS reporting expertise.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a finance team.
- Proactive problem-solver with exceptional organisational skills.
- Ability to partner with multiple stakeholders across the business.
