Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the full finance function for a group of property entities, including developments, investments, and rentals.
- Preparing consolidated financial statements and ensuring full compliance with IFRS and relevant tax regulations.
- Managing cash flow, budgets, and forecasting for multiple property projects.
- Ensuring accurate lease accounting, service charge reconciliations, and rental income tracking.
- Providing strategic insights to stakeholders on profitability, asset performance, and investment decisions.
- Leading and mentoring a small finance team while partnering with asset managers, property managers, and auditors.
- BCom Degree in Accounting
- 5-8 years' experience in a senior accounting or financial management role within the property industry (development, investment, or real estate management).
- Solid understanding of IFRS, VAT on property transactions, and property-specific compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with property ERP systems (e.g. MDA, MRI, Nicor, or similar).
- Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
