Overseeing the full finance function for a group of property entities, including developments, investments, and rentals.
Preparing consolidated financial statements and ensuring full compliance with IFRS and relevant tax regulations.
Managing cash flow, budgets, and forecasting for multiple property projects.
Ensuring accurate lease accounting, service charge reconciliations, and rental income tracking.
Providing strategic insights to stakeholders on profitability, asset performance, and investment decisions.
Leading and mentoring a small finance team while partnering with asset managers, property managers, and auditors.
Skill & Qualifications:
BCom Degree in Accounting
5-8 years' experience in a senior accounting or financial management role within the property industry (development, investment, or real estate management).
Solid understanding of IFRS, VAT on property transactions, and property-specific compliance.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with property ERP systems (e.g. MDA, MRI, Nicor, or similar).
Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
