Are you a newly qualified CA(SA) ready to elevate your career? A leading national group in the commercial sector is seeking a Finance Manager to step in as the right-hand to the Group FM and Managing Director. This 3-6 month contract role has strong potential to become permanent and offers hands-on exposure across entities, projects, and high-level strategy.
Join a well-established, high-performing group headquartered in Randburg. As the Finance Manager, you will be providing critical financial oversight, project-based analysis, and group reporting.
This role is perfect for a technically strong, confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders across branches and functions. It offers a unique balance of head office exposure and on-the-ground operational involvement.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Project Accounting: Lead financial tracking and analysis for group-level initiatives and strategic projects.
• Branch Oversight: Visit and support regional entities, aligning reporting and financial performance across the group.
• Executive Support: Act as the 2IC to the Group Financial Manager and MD, assisting with reporting packs, financial modelling, and business reviews.
• Financial Controls: Ensure adherence to group policies, support audit readiness, and drive compliance.
• Business Partnering: Engage with leadership across functions and locations to improve financial clarity and operational decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

• CA(SA) or newly qualified Chartered Accountant
• 0-2 years post-articles experience
• Proven ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and present confidently
• Maturity, self-management, and the ability to work independently across locations
• Experience with project-based accounting is a strong advantage
