Financial Manager - Johannesburg North
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement investment strategies that align with the company's financial goals and risk appetite.
• Monitor financial markets, economic trends, and geopolitical developments to inform investment decisions.
• Oversee portfolio diversification, asset allocation, and rebalancing to optimize returns.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks (market, credit, liquidity, and operational).
• Develop and maintain risk management frameworks, policies, and controls.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices (e.g., Basel III, IFRS, and Solvency II).
• Conduct in-depth financial modeling, scenario analysis, and stress testing.
• Prepare performance reports and dashboards for investment committees and executive leadership.
• Present investment and risk analysis to stakeholders, including senior management and Board members.
• Maintain strong relationships with banks, rating agencies, fund managers, and regulatory bodies.
• Support M&A, joint ventures, and capital raising activities with financial due diligence.
• Advise business units on risk-adjusted return strategies and capital allocation.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems using data analytics and fintech tools.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
• Professional certifications, such as CFA, FRM, or CPA, are highly desirable.
• 5+ years of experience in financial management, investment analysis, or risk management.
• Proven track record in portfolio oversight, financial modeling, and regulatory compliance.
