Are you a seasoned Chartered Accountant with a sharp eye for detail, a passion for financial leadership, and a drive for strategic excellence? Our esteemed client, a powerhouse in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a dynamic Financial Manager (Group Level) to join their executive finance team, based in Johannesburg Central.
As the Group-Level Financial Manager, you will take on a critical leadership position overseeing consolidations and group reporting for multiple entities within the organisation. You will work closely with executive stakeholders, driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and delivering insight that informs key business decisions.
This is not just a reporting role - it's a strategic, hands-on leadership opportunity to influence the financial direction of a complex manufacturing operation.
Duties:
- Lead and manage group financial reporting, including consolidations, monthly management accounts, and Board packs
- Oversee statutory reporting and compliance with IFRS and relevant regulations
- Develop, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team across group entities
- Collaborate with operational leadership to ensure financial alignment with business strategy
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process and liaise with External Auditors
- Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive post-articles experience
- Strong group consolidations and reporting expertise
