Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end finance operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and insurance-specific regulatory requirements.
Manage reinsurance accounting processes, including premium, claims, and technical reserve reconciliations.
Liaise with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders to support reporting and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

BCom in Accounting or Finance (essential).
Minimum 57 years experience in a finance role within reinsurance or insurance (non-negotiable).
Strong understanding of reinsurance accounting principles, treaties, and regulatory frameworks.
Proven ability to lead, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality financial insights.
