Job Description
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for numbers and a sharp eye for detail? Were looking for a skilled and driven Financial Manager to take ownership of my clients' full financial function and lead our finance department with confidence and precision.As a Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements.
- Compiling Provisional and Full-Year Tax Packs.
- Assisting with audit queries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Managing working capital, cashflow, and supplier relationships.
- Leading and overseeing the finance department.
- Forecasting, budgeting, and presenting financial insights.
- Controlling the fixed asset register and overseeing depreciation schedules.
- Managing monthly cost accruals, weekly cash budgets, and cash flows.
- Ensuring accurate monthly close-off and roll-over procedures.
- Reviewing and approving payments via the banking profile.
- Approving supplier banking details, VAT, statutory payments, and journals.
- Ensuring stock accuracy with manufacturing support.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar financial management role.
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
- CA (SA), CIMA, or SAIPA registered professional.
- Proficient in SAP or a similar ERP system.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Competent in MS Word and MS Outlook.
