Job Description

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Financial Management, Accounting, or similar
  • Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
  • 3 - 5 years' post-articles experience in a similar industry such as manufacturing, food production, FMCG, agriculture, etc.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, legislation and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • High level of integrity and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
Key responsibilities:
  • Preparation of annual financial statements and management accounts
  • Cash flow management and reporting
  • Full function of creditors and debtors
  • Tax submissions and compliance
  • HR administration and payroll oversight
  • Liaising with auditors and preparing audit packs
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Conducting variance analysis and providing actionable insights
  • Driving process improvements and financial efficiency
