Job Description
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Financial Management, Accounting, or similar
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
- 3 - 5 years' post-articles experience in a similar industry such as manufacturing, food production, FMCG, agriculture, etc.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- High level of integrity and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Preparation of annual financial statements and management accounts
- Cash flow management and reporting
- Full function of creditors and debtors
- Tax submissions and compliance
- HR administration and payroll oversight
- Liaising with auditors and preparing audit packs
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Conducting variance analysis and providing actionable insights
- Driving process improvements and financial efficiency
