Job Title

Financial Manager
Job Overview

Carrying out instructions from managers and carrying out orders based on the business requirements are including but not limited to:

Main Areas of Responsibility

Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and financial reporting standards External stakeholder engagement e.g. financial institutions government , customers etc In depth financial modelling and analysis Manufacturing champion Supporter of R&D and tech development Financial input report and review to all other business units Project and manufacturing costing and analysis Managing the risks involved in the financial activities of the business. Compiling financial reports and supervising month-end processes. Drafting procurement processes and signing off on purchase orders. Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices. Create and monitor annual budgets and forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management. Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements. Oversee the company's cash flow, ensuring proper allocation and investment of funds. Manage risk through insurance, hedging and other financial instruments, ensuring the company's financial stability. Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives and drive growth. Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability, driving the company's financial success. Financial Record Management: Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records, transactions and documentation. Supply Chain Management Stores and stock management Develop and manage SCM Processes Strive for best economic value - Strategic Procurement Implement SCM systems and controls Monitor and evaluate procurement procedures Maintain databases for suppliers Project Management Logistic Management Supplier assessments Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities Taking responsibility for the planning and execution of financial duties and projects of a company. Preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts for the business to ensure financial stability. Drafting budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and reports required. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail
Minimum qualifications and requirements

1. BCOM honours

2. SAICA articles completed

3. Professional body registration - non negotiable

4. Minimum 10 years post article industry experience

5. Available immediately

6. Salary market related commensurate with experience

7. Must be proficient in Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From R40000,00 per month
