Financial Manager - Centurion
Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and analysis of statutory financial statements and reports, including month-end reporting.
Manage accurate records of financial transactions, including journal entries, ledgers and reconciliations.
General ledger management and ensure the integrity of all accounts during month-end close.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and company policies.
Assist with audits, tax filings and other financial compliance requirements.
Monitor and analyse financial performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities.
Participate in financial planning, forecasting and budgeting activities.
Provide support and guidance to departments on financial matters.
Prepare and file various financial reports and disclosures as required.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 4-5 years post-qualification experience
Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably in insurance or related financial services industry
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations and financial reporting standards, including an understanding of IFRS17
