About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Financial Manager

to provide both strategic and operational financial leadership across our group of companies. The successful candidate will ensure accurate reporting, strong cash-flow management, full compliance with all regulatory requirements, and optimal use of company resources.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee all financial operations including accounting, payroll, debtors, creditors, audits, insurance, and taxation. Manage daily cash flow and banking relationships to ensure liquidity and control. Prepare and review monthly trial balances, management packs, and financial statements. Coordinate annual audits, AGM documentation, and statutory submissions. Manage property leases, fixed assets, insurance portfolios, and company vehicles. Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and company secretarial obligations. Provide financial insight and support to senior management and other departments. Lead and develop the finance team, including oversight of payroll and consultant tier structures.

Minimum Requirements:



Degree or Diploma in Finance (minimum NSC/NQF Level 5). Minimum of

5-10 years' experience

in a senior financial management role. Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport. Proven experience in financial control, budgeting, and reporting. Strong management and leadership abilities. Experience within the

medical or healthcare industry

will be advantageous.

Skills & Competencies:



Strategic, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. High level of integrity, accuracy, and compliance awareness. Proficient in

Pastel

or

Xero

(GoodX/Unisolve advantageous). Advanced

MS Office

skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Knowledge of

taxation, statutory reporting, and healthcare financial systems

. Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Additional Requirements:



Clean credit and criminal record checks. Professional registration (e.g., SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA) is an advantage.
