Job Description

An established and well known company in Stikland, is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join their team. If you have an excellent track record of experience in being responsible for end-to-end processes of the Finance Department combined with the FMCG / Manufacturing / Chemical industry, then this position is for you!

The successful candidate will provide efficient data processing and administration service to the payroll department in order to ensure accurate payroll records of employees as well as to contribute to the timeous and accurate payment of salaries or wages to all staff in line with company processes and procedures.

You will be responsible for:

Manage accounts and admin teams to ensure deadlines are met

Budgeting and Forecasting

Forecasting of cashflow

Facilitate annual audit

Loading of all payments

Preparation of monthly management reports

Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to Executive while recommending further courses of action

Preparing and drafting annual financial statements

Complete and submit VAT and other statutory reports

Maintain the financial health of the organization

Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans

Develop trends and projections for the organization's finances

Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities

Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met

Manage the preparation of the company's budget

Develop strategies that works in order to minimize the financial risk of the business

Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained

Education:

Matric

B. Accounting / B.Compt

Honours degree will be adv.

3 Years Articles within an auditing firm

Minimum 4-5 yeas' experience within a similar role

Excellent knowledge of Pastel

The suitable candidate must be hard working, ambitious, strong personality to be able to deal with various stakeholders and should strive for growth as they could be the FD's successor. Must have proven people management skills, exceptional attention to detail and an effective communicator at all levels. Highly organized and flexible, strong numerical skills and must be able to work under pressure.
