Job Summary
A leading wholesale and manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team in Sandton. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute professional to oversee all financial reporting, management accounts, and internal controls to ensure compliance and support accurate financial management. If you have a BCom Accounting degree, over five years of experience, and a strong background in financial accounting or auditing, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly management accounts and comprehensive financial reports.
Oversee all reconciliations and journals to maintain accurate records.
Ensure full compliance with accounting policies, standards, and regulations.
Support external audits and manage tax submissions.
Supervise and mentor finance clerks and accountants.
Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls.
Analyse financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

A degree in Accounting or a similar field.
Articles from a professional accounting body (e.g., SAIPA or SAICA).
At least 5 years of experience in financial accounting or auditing.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Previous experience in the distribution or manufacturing sectors.
