Job Summary Financial Controller | Luxury Hotel Group | Cape Town, South Africa Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Controller for a Luxury Hotel Group based in Cape Town. This offers a unique opportunity to manage finance operations within one of South Africa's premier luxury safari destinations. Requirements: Relevant financial qualification advantageous 3-5 years' experience in senior hospitality finance or management roles Strong understanding of financial and stock control processes Proficiency in MS Office Suite Experience in planning, budgeting, and departmental administration Proven track record in achieving financial targets Attention to detail, accuracy, and professional approach under pressure Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Flexible, proactive, and guest-focused with strong problem-solving abilities South African or valid work permit Key Responsibilities: Finance Administration Complete month-end workbooks, including stocks and payroll Monitor payments, process invoices, and maintain Debtors Age Analysis Manage petty cash, gratuity allocations, and payroll submissions Compile budgets, operational schedules, and financial reports Support year-end audits and variance reporting Provide financial training and oversight to the finance team Stock Control Ensure Cost of Sales standards are met and incentives managed Oversee stock takes and inventory accuracy Monitor Goods Received Vouchers, daily sales, and stock PAR levels Control expenses and maintain departmental budgets Package: Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience) Opportunities for professional growth within a luxury hospitality group To apply for the Financial Controller position, please send your CV, reference letters, and qualifications today Please note: Only candidates meeting the listed requirements will be contacted.
