Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead audit deliverables and ensure compliance with IFRS standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex financial processes in a dynamic environment.
As a Financial Controller, you will take ownership of statutory audits, liaise with internal teams and external auditors, and oversee the preparation of IFRS-compliant financial statements. You will manage relationships with third-party service providers, identify process gaps, and implement improvements for ongoing compliance. The role also includes supporting tax, VAT, and transfer pricing requirements, as well as providing guidance to the finance team across multiple African entities.
Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of IFRS standards (including IFRS 9, 15, and 16)
Proven experience managing statutory audits and financial statement preparation
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage competing priorities and influence stakeholders effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
Qualification:
Degree in Finance
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
