to support the day-to-day financial administration and broader business administration of the company. The role is operational and hands-on, requiring a high level of accuracy, organisation, and independence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for core financial administrative tasks such as invoicing, accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation, while also assisting with general business and operational administration as required.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Administration
Generate and issue customer invoices and credit notes
Capture and maintain accounting entries in the accounting system
Perform bank reconciliations and transaction matching
Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records
Follow up on outstanding invoices and assist with collections
Prepare basic monthly finance schedules and reports for management
Maintain accurate supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Business & Operational Administration
Assist with supplier onboarding, purchase orders, and payment processing
Maintain contracts, agreements, and key business documentation
Support payroll administration inputs (expense claims, leave records, timesheets)
Assist with company secretarial and compliance-related administration where required
General office administration and ad-hoc business support
Liaise with external service providers such as accountants, payroll providers, auditors, and suppliers
Perform monthly reporting, usage calculations, and credit loading on the 1st of each month
Ensure reporting and credit loading are completed between 12:00am and 7:00am on the 1st of each month, until the process is fully automated
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of
5 years' experience
in financial administration, finance operations, or office administration
Proven experience with invoicing, reconciliations, and accounting entries
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Pastel, or similar)
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience working in an SME or high-growth business environment
Exposure to multi-entity or group company structures
Basic understanding of VAT and statutory reporting (supporting role)
Experience working with external accountants and auditors
