We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial and Cost Accountant who not only understands the numbers but can leverage them to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a robust background in financial accounting and cost control, with the ability to uncover efficiencies, optimize value, and support sustainable business growth.
Financial and cost accountant Duties:
- Prepare Financial Statements
- General Ledger Management
- Month-End and Year-End Closing
- Tax Compliance
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Internal Controls and Compliance
- Cost Analysis and Allocation
- Standard Costing
- Inventory Management
- Profitability Analysis
- Margin and Break-even Analysis
- Reporting
- Microsoft excel
- ERP
- SAP or Oracle
- Microsoft word
- Experience in audit consulting, legal or related field is required
Qualification:
- B Com in Accounting
- Completion of board exams are required
- SAIPA articles would be advantageous
- BCom Financial Management or similar
- CIMA will be an advantage
- Full finance function
- Balance sheet
- Reconciliation
