The Finance Analyst plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial data. The role supports rigorous financial control processes, contributes to reliable month-end close and reporting, and assists in the continuous enhancement of finance operations within Group Reporting timelines.
The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in accounting principles, attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and a proactive mindset to support continuous improvement in a fast-paced finance environment.
Some of the awesome things you'll be involved with:
Financial ManagementExecute accurate accounting for fixed assets including purchase, verification, depreciation, disposal, and reporting. Prepare and process month-end journals and conduct analysis of Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounts. Ensure timely and accurate Balance Sheet reconciliations, including intercompany balances. Support statutory compliance including VAT, PAYE, and year-end audit requirements through well-prepared documentation and schedules. Assist with cash flow forecasting and contribute to cost-saving and spend control initiatives

Information ManagementMaintain the Supplier Masterfile and ensure updates to approved vendor lists are well-documented. Ensure the General Ledger and vendor records in NetSuite are updated in accordance with internal policies and compliance needs. Post ARs, APs, and bank entries as required to support transactional integrity

Business Process ImprovementActively contribute to process improvement initiatives in the finance department by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements. Assist in developing control schedules that support transparency, efficiency, and compliance.

Data ManagementEnsure financial data quality and consistency by applying controls and validation in data entry and reconciliation. Maintain documentation that supports financial records and audit trails

What you will bring:
Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is advantageous Prior exposure to statutory reporting or treasury process is advantageous Experience working in a shared services or global finance environment is a plus

Professional Skills and CompetenciesStrong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and internal controls. Proficiency in financial systems, preferably NetSuite or similar ERP tools Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement A proactive approach to resolving discrepancies and identifying improvement opportunities. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and work independently. Good understanding of VAT compliance and statutory reporting obligations High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality A professional and confident demeanour, with excellent verbal and written communication skills suited to a collaborative finance environment
