Position Summary
1. Support internal management decision-making by producing business performance analysis which is identified, measured and delivered economic information of business activities by accounting method.
2. Establish management and execution plans and conduct financial supports such as managing actual implementation of plans to maximize business performance.
3. Optimize and efficiently manage internal policy & procedure based on business accounting standards and business circumstance.
Role and Responsibilities
Roles and ResponsibilitiesMonthly financial and management reporting to Samsung HQ;
Preparation of yearly budget for SEWA and SEEA;
Analysis of structural cost by subsidiary (SEWA and SEEA)
Monthly profit analysis between forecast and actual budget;
Calculation of monthly provisions and accruals;
Assistance with month-end close and results submission to Korea;
Assist with review and completion of quarterly DC&P submissions;
Maintenance of internal controls and compliance with company policies;
Other ad-hoc accounting responsibilities.
Skills and QualificationsInterpret and apply theoretical knowledge to a practical business solution by using a sound knowledge of accounting principles;
Assistance with completion of tight month-ends;
Prioritise workload and meet required deadlines
Providing regular feedback to the Head of Finance and Chief Finance Officer on accounting / operational related matters;
Assistance with handling of various queries that may exist from the African subsidiaries (SEWA and SEEA).
3 years experience within the financial environment
Good financial analyst background
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Fluent in Korean or Chinese
