Rand Water is looking for an candidate who will be to administer financial operations in full compliance with sound financial practices, legislation and Rand Waterxe2x80x99s policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements

• NQF level 4, with at least 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the financial environment, including

• Asset management

• Budgeting and variance reporting

• Reconciliation

• Desired financial qualification NQF level 6

• Supervisory experience essential

• Computer literate in MS Office and SAP

Primary Duties

• Compilation of monthly variance reports as well as ADHOC reports

• Co-ordination of site operational and supplementary budgeting processes by liaising with relevant stakeholders

• Monitors the progress of supplementary budget acquisition to capitalization; including preparation of progress reporting on a weekly/monthly basis

• Ensuring correct cost allocation and preparation of journals.

• Reporting of irregular activities from site procedures

• Ensure compliance to petty cash policy and procedure

• Responsible for the bank & petty cash reconciliations

• Responsible for the receipting of local purchase order invoices

• Resolution of related queries includes interaction with suppliers, end users, corporate Finance, Divisional Support Office and other sites

• Co-ordinate asset verifications in line with the corporate calender and Finance guidelines

• Staff supervision, development, performance management and training
