Job Description
Koelfontein Landgoed is part of the Conradie Group of companies, a vertically integrated agribusiness based near Prince Alfred's Hamlet in the Ceres Valley. We specialize in the production of top quality fresh and dried fruit as well as the processing, packaging and international distribution of dried fruit and nuts. Koelfontein also produces wine on a small scale and operates a Simmentaler cattle stud.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
The incumbent forms part of a dynamic finance team and reports directly to the Financial Manager.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management statements and statistics
- Recording of general journals up to trial balance
- Reconciliation of control accounts
- Preparation for annual financial audit
- Completion of annual financial statements
- Management of creditors function and verifying of reconciliations
- Preparation of creditor payments
- Compare and analyse expenses against budget
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Verifying of wages
- Submission of VAT
- Assist with stock takes
- Processing and reconciliation of bank accounts
- Management of enquiries and liaison with internal and external parties as required
- Miscellaneous responsibilities as required from time to time
- Advanced MS Excel
- Caseware
- Good time management and punctuality regarding deadlines
- Ability to function self-sufficiently, but within a team context
