Join the Group Finance function of a growing JSE Fintech
Hybrid if you prefer.
Looking for experienced financial accountant with strong self-discipline, able to work in fast-paced environment.
Provide financial management support to managers - payments, requisitions etc.
Compile month end reporting packs for various stakeholders.
Manage month end closing process.
Process journal entries and general ledger entries.
Prepare regulatory reporting submissions.
Income Tax, VAT and PAYE tax reporting, submissions, and payment
Prepare Annual Financial Statements
Income statement performance analysis
Balance sheet accounts recons
Debtors and Creditors management
Accounting for pre-payments and accruals
Fixed asset management - capitalization, depreciation, and recons
Keep up to date with IFRS standards and all accounting concepts, practices and procedures!
Variance and trend analysis - budget versus actual and forecasting
Manage external audit and associated queries.
Undertake special and ad hoc projects.
Desired Experience
BCom Min
Extensive accounting experience - in financial services is a big advantage.
Accuracy in Financial Reporting and attention to detail.
Experience with NetSuite an advantage.
Advanced Excel
