An established international organisation with operations across multiple African countries is seeking a Financial Accountant to take ownership of the accounting function for two of its key entities. This role is perfect for someone hands-on and detail focused who enjoys managing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting month-end reporting. You will be joining a high-performing finance team where teamwork, accountability, and initiative are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and process the daily accounting transactions for two African entities
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end reporting and financial statements
• Maintain compliance and accuracy across all financial processes
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as needed

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 3 years' commercial experience in a full-function accounting role
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
• Proficiency in reconciliations and general ledger management
• Confident, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Immediately available candidates will be prioritized
