Job Description
Duties:
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Drafting Financial Statements
- Implementing financial controls on all:
- Assets
- Income streams
- Expenses
- Processing and calculation of month end journals
- All processing of the books up to Trial Balance
- Cashbooks
- Debtors:
- Invoicing
- Statements
- Recons
- Creditors:
- Batching supplier invoices
- Tracking discounts offered on payments
- Recons
- Suppliers Depreciation Journals
- Deferred Tax
- Review and submit VAT and payroll calculations
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Management of bank accounts
- Package profit reconciliation and allocation
- B.Com Accounting degree
- Minimum of 2 years financial accounting experience within either the:
- Hospitality (Hotel or Lodge), or
- Travel & Tourism industry
- Articles done with a reputable firm
- Must be experienced in Pastel
- Experienced in SARS and E-Filing
- Contactable references
