An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accountant to join a fast-paced finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of accurate financial reporting, month-end reconciliations, budget support, and maintaining strong financial controls. This role offers exposure across management accounts, variance analysis, year-end preparation, and ad-hoc finance projects.
If you hold a relevant accounting qualification (BCom / AGA(SA) / Professional Accountant SA) with 3+ years' experience and excel in a deadline-driven environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Prepare accounting transactions and ensure accuracy in financial reporting up to management accounts
Investigating unexpected variances in the profit & loss account
Preparing & reviewing monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
Assistance in annual budget preparation
Assistance of financial year end lead schedule preparation
Maintaining effective financial controls and reporting structures
Contributing to the daily functioning of the finance team and its performance
Assisting with ad hoc assignments and projects
Skills & Experience:
3+ Years Experience in a Financial Accountant role
SAP experience - ADVANTAGEOUS
Able to use own initiative and work with minimum supervision
Team player
Able to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines
Able to work flexible hours (Overtime if needed)
Able to think logically
Highly computer literate
Able to adapt to change quickly and a problem solver
Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or AGA(SA)/PA(SA)
