Financial Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Cape Town. This role involves managing financial reporting, maintaining effective controls, and supporting budgeting and year-end processes.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing accurate financial transactions and management accounts, investigating variances, and reviewing monthly reconciliations. You will assist with annual budgets, year-end schedules, and contribute to the daily functioning of the finance team. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Skills & Experience:
Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong computer literacy
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
Minimum 3+ years of experience
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
