Job Title: Financial Accountant
Contract Type: Full time, onsite

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The complete financial accounting process for the operation, preparation of budgets, Life of Mine Plans, monthly and annual financial reports and to ensure governance practices are adhered to within the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain accurate financial transactions on the ERP system.
Monthly Reporting
Taxation
Management of direct report (Financial Assistant)
Procurement and contract management
Accounts Payable
Debtors
Budgets
Cashflow
Assets
Inventory
Forecasting and Scenario Analysis
Ad-hoc
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

BCom Accounting
ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified
3-5 years minimum experience in financial management (outside an

auditing
environment) and reporting in a mining operational environment
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES

Proven track record of executing financial accounting transactions and

reconciliations,
inclusive of month-end files, year-end files, accrual journals,
submissions of statutory
returns, dealing with year-end audits, etc. in a corporate environment.

Computer literate and ERP Systems knowledge
Relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks (e.g. Companies Act,

PFMA, Income Tax
and VAT

Risk Management practices and principles.
Willing to travel locally and work extended hours when required.
Ability to work under pressure.
Advanced Excel - setting up cost and data analysis templates, capital

budgeting templates,

Problem-solving skills
