About the role
The main function of the finance trainee is to assist our team with various generalist finance responsibilities. This opportunity offers a unique blend of financial exposure and detail orientation skill. As a finance trainee, you will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals and contribute to financial functions. The candidate will gain exposure to the day-to-day processes which includes but not limited to audits, accounts payable and other departmental administration processes.Responsibilities
- Assist in financial reporting and data capturing and analysis tasks
- Undertaking specific projects as required by the finance management team
- Assist in developing and maintaining work procedures
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial and management reports
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent attention to details
- Confidentiality and integrity is non-negotiable
- A completed degree in Finance or related field
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft excel and financial software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- The candidate must be based in Johannesburg
- Aged between 18 and 34
- Must not have taken part on the YES Programme before
