Finance System Lead

Job Summary
My client is looking for a hands-on Finance Systems Lead to own and evolve their Microsoft-based finance systems. You'll lead a small team of analysts, manage Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Power Platform tools, and drive automation and process improvements across the business. This is a high-impact role with real ownership, ideal for a senior analyst or aspiring manager ready to lead, optimise, and innovate. You'll collaborate with internal IT and external vendors, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance while championing low-code/no-code solutions.
Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query
Experience with finance systems and workflows (highly advantageous)
Proven leadership or mentoring experience
Bonus: Python or programming knowledge
Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
Qualification:
Relevant degree preferred
Solid background in finance systems and Microsoft tech stack
