To optimize the supply chain process, reduce costs, and ensure smooth operations. This role plays a critical part in aligning the financial and operational aspects of the organization to meet the company's strategic goals.
Responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspect of a company and its supply chain operations. This role requires a combination of financial expertise and supply chain management knowledge to ensure the timely and precise reporting of financials as well as the efficient flow of goods (E2E), minimize costs, and optimize working capital.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications required to fulfil the role
Matric.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Honours degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CFA, CMA, CGMA) may be advantageous.
Specific Work Experience, Knowledge and Skills required to fulfil the role
5 years of experience in finance management, financial analysis, or a related field.
Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and proficiency with financial analysis tools.

Key Accountabilities
Financial Planning and Analysis
Develop and manage the company budgets and forecasts.
Prepare a midmonth estimation to simulate the outcome of any given month.
Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Finance Supply chain and Customer Services team.
Procurement and Vendor Management
Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate vendor contracts and terms.
Assess supplier performance and evaluate the cost-effectiveness of the supply chain.
Ensure that procurement decisions align with the company's financial goals and ICRF requirement.
Inventory Management & Demand Planning
Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and service level requirements.
Implement inventory control and demand forecasting strategies.
Minimize carrying costs and reduce obsolete inventory.
Perform the central planning function thereby balancing country wide demand and supply.
Sales and operations planning to ensure minimal adverse impact to the business.
Supply Chain
Streamline supply chain processes to improve efficiency.
Manage the warehouse activities with emphasis on ensuring the warehouse meets the service level agreement targets and accuracy.
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain and propose solutions.
Work on logistics and distribution strategies to reduce transportation costs.
Financial Reporting
Prepare and present financial reports executive committee (EXCO) of the organization.
Mid month Estimation of the company's profit and loss.
Month end reporting and Review of financials.
Communicate the financial performance, variance analysis, and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.
Risk Management & Compliance
Ensuring compliance to the companies internal control reference framework.
Develop and implement controls to mitigate and safeguard against any key risks identified in the organization.
Manage insurance and risk management strategies are in place and aligned to group policy.
Sales Controlling
Assist the General Manager by ensuring accurate and adequate reporting of the turnover in the organization.
Ensuring all sales are within the companies' parameters of profitability within the expected margins.
Performance grading & analytics of sales by various matrix.
Margin Analysis.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Communication
Overseeing the accounting department including accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger teams in the service center
Foster collaboration with the commercial team to ensure financial goals are met.
Manage the procurement process, by setting the procurement and supply strategy to support efficient business operation and profitability.
Partner with shared services in ensuring compliance to external audits.
