eKomi, a global leader in customer feedback and review management, empowers businesses to build trust and fuel growth. We're seeking a driven Finance & Operations Manager to join our Cape Town team and take charge of our operations with the mindset of a business owner.

Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on professional who blends accounting expertise with operational savvy. You've moved from crunching numbers to running the show, capable of handling everything from bookkeeping to strategic growth. This role demands someone who dives into the details, manages P&L, negotiates with confidence, and drives our SMB-focused business forward.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping and compliance. Oversee and control the profit and loss (P&L) statement to ensure financial health. Manage daily operations, tackling any task to keep the business thriving. Negotiate contracts and foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners. Drive business growth through strategic decisions and financial insights. Act as the go-to problem-solver, handling ad-hoc operational and financial challenges.

Requirements

Proven accounting experience (e.g., bookkeeping, financial reporting, or controlling) with a shift into operational leadership. 5+ years in operations, preferably in an SMB or tech environment. Sharp business acumen with strong negotiation and decision-making skills. Hands-on experience managing books and P&L statements. Proactive, can-do attitude, ready to take on any business-owner task. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred).

Nice-to-Haves

Experience in tech, e-commerce, or customer feedback industries. Knowledge of Cape Town's business ecosystem. Familiarity with tools like QuickBooks, Xero, Excel, or CRM systems.
