Our client, a well-established construction company with a strong pipeline of projects, is looking for a Finance Manager who brings more than just technical accounting skills. Our client is a construction business based in Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha known for quality project delivery and a practical, no-nonsense approach to getting the job done. As the company grows, they're investing in a stronger financial backbone-and they need a finance leader who can partner with operations to drive performance.
This is an opportunity for someone with commercial awareness, a deep understanding of cost and cash flow, and the confidence to step beyond the spreadsheet and into the heart of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting cycles
- Drive cash flow planning and cost management across multiple projects
- Engage with project teams to monitor performance and improve financial outcomes
- Provide commercial insights and support on contract and procurement decisions
- Deliver accurate WIP reporting and job costing
Bcom degree in a related field required
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
Construction experience beneficial
