Financial management of the business including consolidation, review, analysis and reporting of the financial information, challenging the integrity of financial data, tax and treasury support and the preparation of forecasts and budgets. The Finance Manager will liaise with various functions within the business as well as to overall provide tax and accounting advisory.
Key responsibilities
1. Manage liquidity, cashflow and financial risks
2. Ensure sufficient liquidity and optimise cash and financial instruments
3. Focus on short-term and long-term financial activities including financial planning
4. Manage short-term investments and working capital
5. Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions for liquidity management
6. Provide weekly and monthly reports on cash positions and liquidity
7. Interact with clients, executives and other stakeholders
8. Produce monthly management reports, quarterly strategic reports and annual financial statements
9. Manage finance team
10. Compile SARS returns and compliance related submissions
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Degree: B.Comm (Acc) or Cost Management Acc
Accounting Software experience prerequisite - Experience with XERO and Draftworx added advantage????????????????????????????????????
SAICA or SAIPA Articles required
Minimum of 5 years post article experience
