Duties:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Coordinate and manage external audits and internal control reviews.
• Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Management:

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across divisions (e.g., seed production, logistics, and infrastructure).
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency in operational processes, especially in production and logistics environments.
• Strategic Financial Planning:

• Provide financial insights to support investment decisions, expansion projects, and cross-border operations.
• Partner with business unit leaders to evaluate the financial viability of new ventures, including product lines, regional growth, or infrastructure development.
• Contribute to long-term financial models to guide strategic planning and capital allocation.

This role reports to the Head of Finance.
Job Experience and Skills Required:

• CA(SA)
• 7 years post-articles experience
• 4 years relevant Agriculture experience
