Finance Manager

A respected and growing mining company based in Johannesburg East is looking for a hands-on, grounded, and driven Finance Manager to take the lead in managing our full finance function. Key Responsibilities:
- Treasury & Cash Flow Management Oversee liquidity, banking, and funding strategies
- Credit Management Supervise credit policies and risk control
- Statutory Compliance Ensure all local and international financial regulations are met
- US GAAP Reporting Prepare accurate, timely financial reports to group standards
- Internal Controls (SOX) Maintain and enhance internal financial controls
- Payroll Oversight Supervise accurate, compliant payroll processing
- Lead and mentor a team of 9 skilled finance professionals
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified CA(SA) or equivalent
- 6+ years experience in a similar finance leadership role, preferably within mining or heavy industry
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and statutory reporting
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize under pressure
- Humble, self-starting, and ready to get their hands dirty
- Committed to being on-site daily and leading from the front
