Job Summary About the Company
Join a prominent African engineering group known for innovation, operational scale, and long-term growth. As Finance Manager, you'll play a strategic role in driving profitability, managing risk, and enhancing financial performance across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Leadership
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management to ensure delivery against key objectives. * Policy, Compliance & Risk
Uphold financial policies, ensure statutory compliance, and identify risks across operations and markets. * ERP & Financial Systems Oversight
Manage the finance function's systems (SAP or Pastel), ensuring they support current and future business needs. * Operational & Commercial Support
Partner with business units on pricing, cost control, and investment decisions to enhance profitability. * Stakeholder Engagement
Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and execution of strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified CA(SA) - essential
- Minimum 10 years' progressive experience in finance, including 5+ years in operational finance within engineering or manufacturing sectors
- Proven track record in financial strategy, cost management, and performance analytics
- Strong working knowledge of SAP or Pastel
- Experience in leading finance for multi-site operations
