A leading industrial manufacturing company is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial management across the company and its subsidiaries. Finance Manager - Industrial Manufacturing
? Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg East
? Type: Permanent
? Salary: R 1 200 000 - R 1 600 000 per annum (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management & Reporting:

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information and statements
• Oversee the full finance function, including job costing, reporting, and compliance with IFRS standards
• Manage working capital: Supplier payments, customer collections, and banking facilities
• Prepare and communicate monthly stock movement analysis and cash flow forecasts
• Compliance & Statutory Oversight:

• Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Tax Act, VAT Act, and other relevant legislation
• Submit statutory returns to CIPRO, the Department of Statistics, Reserve Bank, and other authorities
• Maintain and review VAT submissions, balance sheet reconciliations, and inter-company balances
• Operational Finance:

• Oversee invoicing in collaboration with the Cost Accountant
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions
• Assist with payroll implementation and control (VIP)
• Maintain and manage the fixed assets register
• Insurance & External Audits:

• Manage insurance claims and renewals
• Coordinate and control external audit execution
• B-BBEE & Quality Systems:

• Drive B-BBEE scorecard strategy
• Conduct internal audits and maintain quality documentation and procedures
• Health & Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to Section 14 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993)
• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents promptly

Requirements:

• Qualification: CA(SA)
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in finance, with strong exposure to:

• Job costing and manufacturing environments
• IFRS and statutory compliance
• Full finance function and team management
• Technical Skills: Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, ERP systems, and Excel proficiency
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and drive financial performance
• Growth Mindset: Eager to grow into a CFO role with mentorship and development support
